Mike Shinoda comments on Chester Bennington's suicide

After the shocking news of Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington’s death by suicide, some websites started to raise doubts on the veracity of the news, reporting that Bennington’s death is a hoax. Mike Shinoda, Bennington’s fellow Linkin Park vocalist, has issued the first public statement from the band since news of Bennington’s death broke, confiming Chester's death. 

 

Shocked and heartbroken, but it's true. An official statement will come out as soon as we have one.
