The countdown has begun for Roskilde Festival 2018, and the first acts have now been revealed. Bruno Mars is the first headliner to be confirmed for ROSKILDE FESTIVAL 2018. Tickets go on sale on the 15th November.
Grammy-winning hit machine Bruno Mars will be headlining the 48th edition of your favourite non-profit festival, playing Orange Stage for the first time.
With record sales exceeding more than 130 million, Bruno Mars is already one of the best-selling artists of all time. Known for his showmanship, fans and newcomers can expect an energetic, explosive show full of hits such as Grenade, Just The Way You Are, That’s What I Likeand, naturally, Uptown Funk. Bruno Mars will bring along his band The Hooligans for his Roskilde debut.
Old and new friends at Roskilde Festival 2018
Scottish post-rock legends Mogwai will be back at Roskilde next summer, a full 20 years after their first visit to the festival. Rapper Vince Staples also makes his return, bringing his acclaimed sophomore album Big Fish Theory that includes guest stars such as Kendrick Lamar, Damon Albarn, A$AP Rocky and Justin Vernon.
Fans of growl and guitars can look forward to Swedish titans Watain and Denmark’s own Myrkur, the latter playing two concerts: a black metal show with a full band and a more intimate show.
Other Danish acts include national favourite C.V. Jørgensen giving a very rare live performance and post-punk trio Nelson Can, currently enjoying plenty of buzz and airplay in both Denmark and abroad.
